Emotional competency program for adolescents
New fully online version
With this program, adolescents will discover the E-MOOD planet and will be challenged to develop their socioemotional competencies. Developed from theoretical models based on empirical evidence, emoTIC SPACE is a playful and easy to use intervention program. This program can be accessed from home, online and autonomously, and is accessible from any device with internet access.
What is emoTIC®?
It is a mobile application with a solid theoretical and empirical basis, but very simple to use. It is set in an outer space adventure theme and may be used from any mobile device or tablet. It consists of eight groupal missions that can be completed in the classroom. After each mission, the app suggests three training sessions that may be carried out at home, which reinforce the contents studied in the classroom.
Who is it aimed at?
The emoTIC app is designed for secondary schools or work groups with adolescents between the ages of 12 and 16 who want to improve their social-emotional skills. One part is applied in the classroom with the support of the counsellor or teacher, who can follow the instructions in the application’s manual. Another part is worked from home and the adolescents must follow the instructions offered by the app.
What are the benefits of using emoTIC?
It develops four emotional competencies: perception, facilitation, comprehension and emotional regulation. In addition, social skills and attitudes such as intelligent optimism, value development, assertiveness, stress management and respect for diversity are trained.
