EDUCATING IN EMOTIONS IN CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE

The EMINA research group (Educating in Emotions in Childhood and Adolescence Ref. GIUV2016-293) from the Universitat de València dates back more than 10 years. During this period, different professionals from other national and international universities have joined the group, providing studies in the area of infant-juvenile emotional development.

Our research group was created with the aim of analysing, evaluating and intervening in emotional aspects, which are fundamental for the healthy development of people.

Originally, the group was interested in emotional education and well-being within childhood and adolescence. Therefore including the actors involved in the emotional development of minors, such as the family and school environment is essential. Thus, the lines of research are extended to the social-emotional development of teachers, couples and families. In our commitment to improve the well-being of children, adolescents and youth, we have also developed a line of research based in affective-sexual and gender diversity.
